Rules engine – Link tables (source ↔ target)
Before you can map fields, the rules engine must be enabled on the target table and connected to one (or more) source tables.
TIP
In this guide, the source table refers to the table that contains the data you want to map to the target table. Usually this is your own table, but it can also be a table from another system.
The target table refers to the table that will receive the mapped data. Usually this is a table shared from one of your partners.
Link the target table to source tables
Important
The rules engine must be enabled on your account before you can link tables. If you don't see the Link tables button, please contact Product-Live support team to enable the feature.
Next to the target table click on the settings icon click on Link tables:

Choose the pivot identifier
Here you define which table must be used as a source, and which identifier must be used as pivot to find the "same" item.

Important
The pivot is critical: it defines how items from the source table are matched to items in the target table. If you don't select a pivot, the rules engine will not be able to match items and the rules will not be applied.
